numbers linking formulae across sheets

Here's what I'm trying to do (on iOs):

Create a series of sheets in numbers on my iPad where every cell in a column in the 1st sheet contains a formula that is linked to the same cell in all subsequent sheets (essentially a totals page). Here's the kicker: every week I will be adding a new sheet. Is there a way to create a template that automatically links all of the cells on the new sheet to the formula in the totals sheet as soon as a new sheet is added?

Hi Helpmeee,

I don't believe there is a way to do what you want within Numbers.

I want to suggest you rethink your document layout. On a physical level scrolling thru more than 10 tabs is a real pain. The problems you are having extracting totals will just become greater with each bit of data you are wanting to access. A more Numbers approach would be to have a single data input table and then draw data from that. You could then have different report tables for totals, weekly or monthly reports or what have you.
